Emic was formed in 2001 by
anthropologists interested in applying their knowledge and skills
to research and training in the corporate world.
From
its very inception, Emic (a word meaning looking at systems
"from within") has been committed to helping corporations
understand local and global issues and to develop their multinational
strategies with the benefit of in-depth cross-cultural knowledge.
Emic has a variety of partners
worldwide that help serve its clients and develop our work.
The Organisation for Intra-Cultrual Development (OICD)
determines our operating principles, ensuring both the highest
quality anthropological output and a firm ethnical foundation.
Intermedia Inc. assists in worldwide logisitcal matters, media
research and development, and translation and interpreting services.
